Privacy statement
This statement explains which personal data Nocturna VZW processes when you use this website, why we do it, and what rights you have. We keep it as short as it can be.
Who processes your data
Nocturna VZW is the controller. You can reach us through the details at the foot of this page; there is no separate data protection officer, so your question goes straight to the people running the organisation.
The contact form
If you send us a message we process what you fill in yourself: your name, your email address, the subject you picked and your message. We use that to answer you, and for nothing else. Your data is not sold and not used for advertising.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to answer a question. Ask us to delete your message and we will, unless we still need it to settle an ongoing arrangement or a report.
- Where it goes
- In our own back office, where the crew reads it. The form has a spam trap; it fills itself in and stores nothing about you.
- How long
- Until your question is settled, and at most two years after that so we can find a conversation back. Safer-space reports are kept longer where that is needed to protect someone.
Tickets
Tickets are not sold on this website. The button takes you to our ticketing system, which runs on its own address with its own privacy statement and payment partner. What you fill in there does not pass through this site.
This website does read prices and availability from that system. That happens on our server, with nothing about you sent along.
What we do not do
This website loads no third-party scripts. The typefaces are served from our own domain, so your browser makes no contact with Google to show this page. Nothing is recorded about which pages you look at or how long you stay.
There are links to Instagram and Facebook. Those send nothing until you click them and arrive at those services; from that point on their terms apply.
Photographs from our nights
This site shows photographs in which visitors are recognisable. We use them to show what our nights are. Our photographer wears a marked lanyard and asks before taking a close-up.
If you are in a photograph and would rather not be, write to us. It comes down, without you having to explain why and without us arguing about it.
Hosting and server logs
The website runs with a hosting provider. Like any web server it keeps a log of incoming requests: the IP address, the time, the page requested and the type of browser. That is needed to keep the site running and secure, and rests on our legitimate interest.
Those logs are not used to track visitors and are not linked to anything else. They are wiped automatically after a short period.
- Processor
- Our hosting provider processes this data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement. The servers are in the European Union.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to its use. One email is enough; we ask for no forms and no explanation.
If we cannot resolve it together, you may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels. See gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
